WATCH: Travis Kelce makes stunning catch to score the Chiefs’ first touchdown in must-win clash against the Ravens, sending girlfriend Taylor Swift wild as she celebrates in VIP suite

Travis Kelce has helped the Kansas City Chiefs take a step closer to the Super Bowl as he made an unbelievable catch to score the team’s first touchdown of the AFC Championship game on Sunday.

The Chiefs play the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in what is the last playoff game of January before next month’s spectacle, and the tight end put the first points on the board for the reigning champions in front of his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

With just over seven minutes left on the clock in the first quarter, Kelce fought off coverage from Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton to haul in a 19-yard touchdown-pass. It only took 10 plays, 86 yards and 5:45 minutes in the first quarter for Kansas City to draw first blood.

And as Patrick Mahomes raced to the end zone to celebrate with Kelce, the cameras panned to the VIP suite where Swift was watching on with pure joy.

The songstress, who has been to many of her NFL beau’s games this season, looked stunned with her mouth left wide open at first before rallying behind her boyfriend’s early impressive display.

Kelce is aiming to record his second multi-touchdown game of the season after being on the receiving end of two of them in the Chiefs’ AFC Divisional Round win against the Buffalo Bills. In that game, the 34-year-old logged was found five times for six targets, recording a total of 75 yards on top of his two touchdowns.

Kelce ended up with four receptions for 42 receiving yards and a touchdown by the end of the first quarter against the Ravens on Sunday.
