The Kansas City Chiefs have now lost three of their past four games after a 20-14 defeat to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day with Taylor Swift in attendance
NFL analyst Skip Bayless has warned Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs that having Taylor Swift at their matches could be a “distraction”. The pop star, who has been dating Kelce for several months now, was at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas Day for the face-off against the Las Vegas Raiders
The Chiefs lost to the Raiders with a scoreline of 20-14. The Raiders made a miraculous win without a single offensive touchdown.
The first touchdown from the Raiders came from Bilal Nichols’ smart fumble return, swiftly followed by an interception from Jack Jones leading to his pick-six. Both the scores occurred in the second quarter, leading to the Raiders winning their seventh match this year.
The Chiefs are currently on shaky ground with a total record of 9-6, and they will need a strong finish with only two remaining games in the regular season yet to be played. The defending Super Bowl champions have suffered more losses than any other season with Patrick Mahomes as the quarterback starter.
Swift’s attendance has now totaled eight Chiefs games after she showed up to Monday’s loss to the Raiders. The Grammy winner and Kelce were seen together at Arrowhead for the game against the Raiders.
Following the Chiefs’ defeat to the Raiders, Bayless took to social media to question whether Swift being present at the games might be affecting the team’s performance.
