The 2024 Super Bowl, which started 6:30 p.m. ET at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, was a rematch between the Chiefs and 49ers, who last met in the championship game in 2020.
Like last time, the Chiefs defeated the Niners after final hour scoring sprees. The Chiefs won 25-22 after the game went into overtime for only the second time in Super Bowl history.
With that victory, the Chiefs have become the first back-to-back Super Bowl champions in nearly 20 years.
Besides the sense of déjà vu, Super Bowl 58 also brought plenty of viral moments.
Usher performed a 15-minute set at halftime, Beyoncé announced a new album after breaking the internet with a Verizon ad and Taylor Swift, fresh off the Tokyo Dome stage, was in the crowd to cheer on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
