The Duchy of Cornwall has provided income for the heir to the British throne since 1337.
The Duchy of Cornwall, a longstanding private estate in England, published its Integrated Annual Report for 2024. The report recaps what happened on the Duchy of Cornwall estate, which covers Prince William and his family’s public engagements, charitable efforts and private costs.
The estate reported William’s distributable surplus — the income he generated from the estate — at 23.6 million British pounds (nearly $30.4 million) last year.
Alastair Martin, the Duchy’s secretary, explained in a letter within the report the Duchy’s purpose and goals. Read on for more about what he shared.
