Patrick Mahomes’ brother Jackson banned by local business in Kansas City

Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is facing increased backlash as a Reddit user shared a photo from a local business in Kansas City banning him.

The establishment, Uncle Leo’s pizza business, displayed a sign prohibiting Jackson Mahomes from entering. This comes after Jackson’s tumultuous 2023, which included an arrest in May for an incident at a restaurant where he allegedly forcibly kissed the owner, Aspen Vaughn.

“I was in shock. Like you’re a child and he was trying to say, ‘We should be a power couple’, and I’m like, ‘Clearly you’re out of your mind right now.'” Vaughn said at the time.

Vaughn opened up about the restaurant
The incident led to declining sales and security concerns, causing the business to shut down in August. Jackson is facing sexual battery charges, and if found guilty, he could be on the sex offender registry for 25 years, according to Kansas state law.

“There is not really a spot I didn’t personalize or make fun,” Vaughn said of her restaurant back in August.

“I really had a passion for wanting to build something special for the community.”

“All of the excitement and all of the dreams I had for it – I feel like aren’t there anymore.

“It was like one of those things where we’re like, what are we going to wake up today to?. Like I’m strong, and I can take a lot, but it still hurts your feelings, and it’s still insulting. So, it’s like, okay, I’m tapping out.”
