Olivia Dunne makes a stunning start to her senior year as the LSU gymnast marks her season debut with an incredible 9.875 on floor exercise for the Tigers
Olivia Dunne had to wait until LSU’s final rotation of the evening to make her senior-year debut for the Tigers, but posted a 9.875 on floor exercise in her first official routine of 2024.
The score based out of 10 is a strong effort for Dunne, 21, and only .25 off her career high in the discipline (9.900) – set in Feb. 2022 against Alabama.
Dunne has only competed in the floor exercise and uneven bars for the Tigers in meets, with a likely spot not coming on the vault or balance beam.
Dunne was the second competitor of six to compete for LSU on the team’s final rotation of the evening. Dunne’s 9.875 was one of the five scores to count towards LSU’s event total.
