Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby is looking forward to playing the Kansas City Chiefs again

The Las Vegas Raiders are set to match up with the Kansas City Chiefs for their second meeting this season later this afternoon.

The Raiders dropped their first meeting with the Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium earlier this season, 31-17. This game is a must-win game if they want to stay alive in the postseason hunt.

Raiders star Maxx Crosby is looking forward to this game, as his rivalry with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has grown over the years. The two always bring out their best against one another.

Crosby spoke about the rivalry and what the Raiders need to do to win the game on the most recent episode of his podcast, The Rush with Maxx Crosby.

“At the end of the day, I’ve been looking forward to seeing them again,” he said. “Obviously, the first time, I had a f–ing peg leg, and I wasn’t 100 percent. I wasn’t able to fully affect the game the way I wanted to, so I’ve been looking forward to this game. I don’t circle one game on the calendar or the schedule; I circle the whole thing, but every time we play a division game, especially KC, you know what comes with that. So, I have to be at my absolute best. Everybody should expect that, but I know everybody is going to be dialed in and ready to rock. It’s going to be a special environment, Christmas Day, we’re fired up.”

The Raiders are looking to replicate their performance from 11 days ago against the Los Angeles Chargers when they scored a franchise-record 63 points. Crosby and the defense must also be sharp against Mahomes and the offense led by Coach Andy Reid.

Crosby always brings his best against the Chiefs, looking to take down a division rival. In his career against Kansas City, he has 31 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, ten quarterback hits, and five sacks. He has recorded a sack against the Chiefs in each of the last three games.
