The latest episode of The Kardashians put the spotlight on Khloe Kardashian’s 40th birthday bash, with Kim Kardashian stepping up to plan the event as her sisters were tied up.
But as the party drew near, Kim revealed to her hairstylist Chris Appleton that her siblings suddenly had a lot to say, “So I planned Khloe’s birthday party and last minute every sister had a complaint.” She expressed her frustration, noting that no one was around to help initially but now they criticized the location and wanted changes: “And I was like, ‘You guys, no one was here to help me plan.’ They said these big parties, the locations horrible, and I’m like ‘now you want to talk?'”
The show then featured Kim’s voiceover, “Tonight’s the night we’re getting ready for Khloe’s party and all the prep is behind me. But the week before the party, all of a sudden, my sisters chime in with every change they could possibly make.”
Kim stood her ground, “And it’s not just possible. And I was like, ‘if you had a different creative idea, you should have chimed in when we were creating it.’ Like, it’s done!” Kendall Jenner even threatened to skip the party out of frustration with the planning process.

Despite aiming for a cozy house party feel, Kim went all out with a grand cowboy and Dolly Parton theme, leaving her feeling “insecure” about whether it would be well-received. However, Khloe’s delighted reaction upon arrival, “What the actual f—! This is major! This is Khloe perfection, this is perfect!” put all fears to rest.

Kylie Jenner was in attendance and confessed that the party’s vibe was unparalleled, a sentiment that only intensified when Snoop Dogg made an unexpected appearance, reports the Express US. To mark Khloe’s birthday in June last year, Kim dedicated an Instagram post to her younger sister. The duo looked stunning as they posed up a storm together, wearing matching monochrome bra tops and maxi skirts with thigh-high slits.
Welcoming her sister to “the f—— 40 club,” Kim wrote in the caption, “I feel like you have been waiting for years to finally be done with your 30’s and the time has now come. I know this will be the best decade of your life filled with so much love and happiness!”
