Romantic holidays well spent as Taylor jets out of Kansas city
The pop star, 34, had celebrated the holidays and rung in the New Year with her NFL beau Kelce after cheering him on at two of his Kansas City Chiefs games.
The loved-up couple is believed to have spent quality time with one another and their families over Christmas at the tight end’s new $6million mansion.
With the festive period now come to an end, the songstress jetted out of Kansas City on Tuesday as she continues to enjoy her downtime before her Eras Tour starts up again.
The 12-time Grammy award winner was spotted heading to the airport in a white SUV accompanied by her entourage of security before boarding her private jet.
It’s unclear if the songstress is heading back to New York or to Nashville where her parents, Scott and Andrea live.
However, the Chiefs are back in action on Sunday when they face the Chargers in Los Angeles for their final game of the regular season and Swift could consider flying across to the West Coast to support her man once again.
She and Kelce ended 2023 on a high as the Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals 25-17 on New Year’s Eve with the Anti-Hero hitmaker taking up residence in an Arrowhead suite.
Later, they shared a passionate kiss as the clock struck midnight in Kansas City, with the loved-up couple celebrating the arrival of 2024 with a glitzy party surrounded by friends.
Video from the party surfaced across social media on New Year’s Day, with the singer and the NFL star caught on camera in a passionate embrace on a number of clips from the bash.
Kelce was wearing a stylish mottled brown corduroy two piece for the bash, while Swift wowed in a glittering dress by Clio Peppiatt for the occasion.
Friends shared multiple videos from the night, with a close friend of Kelce’s filming the room as the clock struck midnight and inadvertently catching the couple kissing.
And another guest filmed themselves amid the celebrations with Travis and Taylor smooching in the background for the entirety of the clip.
In one photo from the evening, Taylor wrapped her arm around Kelce’s shoulder as she leaned in to new friend Brittany Mahomes and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
The singer arrived for the game at Arrowhead Stadium wearing a replica of the same Chiefs jacket that Kelce had arrived in for the Christmas Day NFL game which she was also at. A closer looks shows that she has ‘Tay’ stitched into the sleeve of her version – a nickname Travis has used for her before.
Sunday’s win saw the Chiefs wrap up the AFC West, giving Kelce another reason to celebrate after the game, and following Sunday’s game against the Chargers they’ll turn their focus to the playoffs.
Meanwhile, 2024 marks another grueling year of touring for Taylor as she takes her sold-out Eras Tour global.
She kickstarts the international leg of the tour in Tokyo on February 7, playing four shows in the Japanese capital and finishing the day before the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
If the Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl on February 11 she might have to make a mad dash from Tokyo, where she will have just played her first shows on 2024, to the west coast to cheer Kelce on.
She will then play shows in Australia, Singapore and in the summer, will spend four months touring Europe.
