Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is not backing down after Elon Musk labeled him an “unfunny j—”. In response, Kimmel fired off a series of sharp jabs at the billionaire, taking aim at Tesla’s latest controversies—including a string of arson attacks targeting the company’s facilities.

Tesla Under Attack—And So Is Musk

In the past week, Tesla has been hit by several protest-related arson incidents:

A protester accidentally set himself on fire while trying to destroy an EV charging station.

A Tesla facility in Las Vegas was torched.

A Tesla Cybertruck in Kansas City, Missouri, was targeted, causing another vehicle to catch fire.

Authorities are actively investigating these incidents as potential arson cases.

Kimmel Mocks Musk’s Response

On his March 19 show, Kimmel played clips from Musk’s Fox News interview with Sean Hannity, in which Musk blamed the protests on fraudsters who were angry about losing their government money.

> Musk’s statement: “They basically want to kill me because I’m stopping their fraud, and they want to hurt Tesla because we’re stopping this terrible waste and corruption in the government.”

Kimmel responded sarcastically:

> “Well, let me see if I can explain it for you. When you pull out a chainsaw to celebrate firing thousands of people, they get mad.”

The Feud Escalates on Social Media

Following Kimmel’s remarks, Musk fired back on X, posting:

> “What a j—.”

Minutes later, he doubled down:

> “He’s such an unfunny j—.”

Kimmel Keeps the Heat On—Tesla’s ‘Bad Week’

The following night, Kimmel continued his comedic takedown, pointing out Tesla’s latest struggles.

> “Tesla is not having a good week,” he said. “Today they issued a recall of nearly all 46,000 of their Cybertrucks. That’s the eighth Cybertruck recall since they came out in November 2023. That’s 15 months—8 recalls.”

Kimmel continued his sharp criticism, saying:

> “I mentioned last night that multiple Teslas were burned at a Tesla facility in Las Vegas. Authorities are now investigating which Teslas were set on fire—and which set themselves on fire.”

He then addressed the growing backlash against Musk, adding:

> “And while no one should be setting anything on fire—ever—people are furious with Elon Musk for randomly and gleefully putting thousands of Americans out of work, including veterans.”

Kimmel also took aim at Musk’s supporters, particularly those aligned with conservative politics:

> “But the MAGA crowd—who, if I recall correctly, have been strongly opposed to violent protests since… January 7, 2021? That’s when they suddenly started caring
