Heroic Teenager Rescues Four Lives in Mississippi

A 16-year-old from Mississippi is being hailed as a hero after saving four individuals from drowning, including a police officer, in a dramatic river rescue.

Corion Evans acted without hesitation when he witnessed a car carrying three teenage girls veer off the road and plunge into a river. Displaying exceptional bravery and presence of mind, Corion immediately jumped into the water and swam toward the sinking vehicle. He managed to bring all three passengers to safety.

While the rescue was underway, a responding police officer encountered trouble in the water and began struggling. Undeterred, Corion returned to assist the officer, successfully helping him to shore as well.

In total, the teen saved four lives that day.

One of the rescued girls later stated, “He saved my life right before my last breath.”
