LeBron James celebrated his 39th birthday over the weekend with a “Studio 84” theme — representing his birth year. The NBA champ brought out a slew of his famous friends including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Adele, Rich Paul and more, who all dressed the part.
The “Someone Like You” songstress donned a multi-color fur coat as her beau, sports manager Rich Paul, wore a black suit with a bowl-cut wig. Bey wore a Barbie pink mini-dress with pink platform heels and Jay dressed in an all-gray ensemble. Stealing the show, the man of the hour sported a large afro, silky blouse and slacks.
Others in attendance included Savannah James and their kids LeBron “Bronny” Jr., Bryce Maximus, and daughter Zhuri Nova. Kevin Hart also attended, as well as Los Angeles Clippers head coach, Tyronn Lue, Anthony Davis, Draymond Green and others.
James recently made history as he became the first Los Angeles Lakers player to record at least 20 points, 10 assists, and five steals in a single game, since Kobe Bryant in 2004. He also hit a feat of being the oldest player with five steals in a game since the stat became official in 1973-74, according to ESPN.
In November 2022, the four-time NBA Champion also passed 39,000 all-time points during the Los Angeles Lakers’ Nov. 21 game against the Utah Jazz.
Reportedly, his 39,000th point came via a three-pointer, which moved him to seventh on the all-time three-pointers made list behind Steph Curry, Ray Allen, James Harden, Reggie Miller, Kyle Korver, and Damian Lillard.
