BREAKING: Jalen Hurts and Fiancée Bryonna Burrows Welcome First Child — The Name Will Melt Your Heart

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is celebrating a major life milestone—off the field. The Super Bowl-winning athlete and his wife, Bryonna “Bry” Burrows, have welcomed their first child together, officially making Hurts a proud “girl dad.”

Hurts and Burrows first met at the University of Alabama in 2016 and have since built a strong and enduring relationship. Burrows notably joined Hurts on the field at Caesars Superdome in February 2025, where the quarterback led the Eagles to a 40–22 Super Bowl victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Shortly after the win, the couple made headlines again by tying the knot in a private spring ceremony. The news was confirmed by Hurts himself during a feature interview with Men’s Health, where he simply stated, “You can call her my wife.”

The couple’s love story, rooted in years of mutual support and admiration, reached another joyful chapter with the birth of their daughter. Though the couple has kept many personal details private, sources say the baby’s name is both meaningful and heartwarming—resonating with fans and family alike.

Hurts proposed to Burrows in September 2024, as the Eagles began their championship season. Reflecting on their bond, Hurts told Essence in 2023:

> “I knew a long time ago. That’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now.”

Burrows has been a constant presence throughout Hurts’ journey, including the heartbreak of the Eagles’ Super Bowl 2023 loss to the Chiefs. Two years later, she stood proudly by his side as he was named Super Bowl MVP after an outstanding performance: 17-of-22 passes completed for 221 yards, two touchdowns, and one rushing touchdown.

Head coach Nick Sirianni praised the quarterback’s leadership:

> “He had an unbelievable game, and we needed him.”
Teammate Saquon Barkley echoed the sentiment, adding,
“Jalen came out and played big.”

The Hurts family now turns to a new chapter with the joy of parenthood. The Eagles’ 2025 season opener has yet to be announced, but their star quarterback is heading into it with fresh motivation and a growing family cheering him on.
